Everyday Math:
We are currently approaching the end of chapter 6. This chapter has brought about the introduction to the algebraic processes. Students are learning how to multiply and divide fractions, how to add and subtract negative and positive numbers, and how to work with equations. These next two weeks will involve working with equations and inequalities.
PreAlgebra:
Simply put, chapter 4 was generally a review chapter. There were a few ideas that had foundations in what they had learned earlier this year, but for the most part students already knew most of what this chapter covered. We will conclude these next two weeks with an inclass project and then the chapter test.

INFORMATION UPDATE:
We have been asked to have students update their contact information online. In the next week, it would be great if you would please go to the following link and complete the form. It should only take a couple minutes and it would very much help operations here at Ray Elementary.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email me at bastachowiak@cps.edu or call me at 7735350970.
Kind regards,
Mr. Stachowiak
